What I Thought Was Going To Be A Long Night....

....ended up wonderful thanks to my husband! :) With my parents moving this summer, we wanted to let Jacob stay with them for a night before they left. (They've only been begging for about 8 months now.) I'm sure he'll stay with them occasionally after they move, but we'll probably be with him most of the time. They are moving 2 1/2 hours away from us to Opp, Alabama. Although it will be an adjustment (we're use to them being an hour away), I know it's the best thing for them right now.
Anywho, on with our night. Wayne and I planned on going on a date since we had an entire night without Jacob. (I have to be honest, sleep was what I was most excited about.) I was running later than I thought I would be getting back, so I called him to tell him a few quick things to grab so I could freshen up on our way. When I got to the house, he came out on the porch all decked out in a suit. I told him I was a little under dressed for whatever he had planned, and he quickly corrected me and told me we were staying home. When I walked in, the ENTIRE HOUSE was candlelit, he had me some flowers, some sweet music was playing, and the table was set. I was blown away. We danced for forever in the kitchen, and then he grilled our steaks and fixed our dinner. A night I dreaded ended up being so sweet, thanks to a wonderful husband.

P.S.: I did not cry one time. Although, Saturday morning I had my mom sending me pics of my baby via her phone. :) I was so excited to see him when he got home!

P.S. (again): I didn't get the sleep I craved. I woke up at 6:30, made myself go back to sleep for a couple more hours, but I couldn't stay asleep. Oh well.

P.S. (again, again): I know some of you get tired of hearing about Wayne, but I can't help it. I've not always had someone like him, and I never knew someone so wonderful existed. God has been so good to me. :)
