Owenby Wedding

Wayne's childhood friend, Adam, got married this past weekend! It was so crazy busy! His Dad was the Father of the Groom, Best Man, and caterer!!! He did a wonderful job! Unfortunately, I don't have many pictures. I don't even have a single one of the bride and groom. I didn't take my camera because I didn't want to get in the photographer's way. So, these were taken by Mr. Donald with his phone.
Their grand exit was done by helicopter! It was a real hit! There was an elderly lady standing by us, and as they exited she said, "Well, I'll be. I've seen it all now!"

The only family pic of the day was taken right after they left so we are very windblown! Wayne doesn't even have his complete tux on. He looked so handsome!

Afterwards, we stayed to help clean up a bit, and Grandmollie found a really fun way to use the tablecloths...


She pulled him all over the place, and he laughed the night away! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

I Cannot Believe It's This Time...

Videos

I had another video I was going to post today, but seriously? This takes too long! I don't have that kind of time. I have a WILD man on my hands! I can't turn my head for two seconds or he's into something. He has a fascination with the toilet nowadays, and I really have to keep my eyes on him!

I had a friend come and see me today with her little man, and my eyes were open to just how active this kid is now compared to what he use to be! His arms flap around all the time, and he hits everything/one! Discipline has been turned up a notch at our house because believe me, he knows what "no" means. Please pray for us during this trying time. Today has not been one of the best, that's for sure.

Besides being into everything, he's learning lots of new things. He can blow kisses, play "peek a boo", he has added "owe" and "oh" (for uh oh) to his vocabulary, he kisses and loves on us all the time, and loves for us to chase him! I say this with every stage, but I truly believe each stage is more fun than the last. And the more fun you're having, the more work you're doing! :)

*Please excuse the way we look and sound in these videos. I have no excuse for the way my voice sounds (I hope I don't really sound like that!), but we look rough because we've been hard at work on our house. Pics to come soon!

Gulf Shores

Things I learned (and some reminders) while in Gulf Shores...

I have the most fantastic in-laws. Seriously, I wouldn't trade them for anything. They are truly a second set of parents for me. I love you both immensely!

I love these two more than I could ever think of the words to describe. They are my life. As long as I have them, I have everything.

Jacob absolutely, positively loves the beach!!!

God blessed this boy with lots of cuteness!

And him too! He never ceases to amaze me! He truly has an unconditional love for me, and I could not ask for more from a husband! I am so blessed to live in peace and love! I wouldn't have it any other way! I love you Wayne Peoples!

My favorite thing at the beach is the sound of the waves crashing! I'm always baffled by the fact that some people can see this and still not believe in The One who made it!

Unfortunately, we could only be there for the weekend because of Wayne's work, but trust me, we squeezed as much as we could in a short time! We're hoping for a longer trip next month!

River Rats

We LOVE to go the the river! In fact, it's pretty much where Wayne and I did most of our dating! We met at the start of summer, and his parents had a place on Warrior River. We practically lived there on the weekends. Unfortunately, his parents sold the place when they bought all their land. We sure do miss it, but we can still have fun. All you need is a boat!

Jacob had a blast, and was definitely tired at the end of the day! We were just told about a place Grandmollie's cousin rents on the river. We went to see it on Sunday, and it's the cutest little cabin! We have talked about wanting to own on the river, but hey, why when someone else can do all the work and it costs you a lot less??? I'm pretty excited about it. I'm sure we will take full advantage of it next year! Maybe even a weekend or two this year. I will post pics when we do. I gave myself a break from the camera on this day, and these were taken with Mrs. Mollie's phone. Plus, I haven't had much luck lately with it, so I figured I was safer to keep it away from water!

Lately

DaDa got a hold of MaMa's camera. He got some cute faces out of our lil pumpkin!

We have also enjoyed many of these...

We've also had lots of fun with friends.

Then today, we went to do Big J's 10 month pictures (since he's almost 11 months already!) You can tell by the first picture that he was ready to go! Evie went too! I will have a complete post on the photog blog, but it might be another week! We're getting ready to leave for the beach on Friday!!!

Man, how time flies! I cannot believe we will have a birthday party in just a few weeks!
