My Baby Sis Said "I Do"

What a weekend!! Or week I should probably say. I played many roles in this wedding...sister, MOH, mother of ring bearer, errand runner, etc. And to think, she originally wanted me to be the photographer! I'm so glad we convinced her that that might would be impossible! Here are a mixture of pictures taken by several different people, my mom and I included. (I picked out the ones I knew I took and put them on my photography blog if you want to check them out.)

After the rehearsal on Friday night, we headed out to Cock of the Walk for the rehearsal dinner.

Once we got back to the hotel, little man got his gift for being in the wedding. Aunt Rie sure does know what Jacob likes! The football says "ring bearer."

The wedding was at Kiesel Park in Auburn, Al. It was a good meeting place for lots of family and friends coming from out of town. Not to mention, it was beautiful!

These two fill my heart with joy like I have never imagined! I am so richly blessed to be their wife and mother!

Wayne and I have truly blended our families. This is proof. My in "loves" came to Auburn to be there with my family, and gave a helping hand while there! I don't know what I would do without them!

I have countless pictures of lil man dancing! He was in the center of it all all night!

Other than the dancing, the bubbles were definitely Jacob's favorite part!

When Jacob saw the car, he screamed "OH DEAR!!!" and everyone started laughing. It's slightly obvious he's with his mama every day! :)

Overall it was perfect. Dana was beautiful. The ceremony was beautiful. And my two year old was the cutest ring bearer ever! We were so proud of him and the great job he did!

A New Style

Of hair at least! As I mentioned before, we FINALLY got these two in with our hair dresser on a time when they could both go! Here is what lil man thinks of his new style...

To be honest, it has taken me almost a week to get use to. This is about the shortest it has been in a long time! I do want it to grow a little, but check out the difference between this and our header picture! He's such a handsome lil man, no matter what his hair looks like!

Sunday

Shew! This is the last one!

We did our usual and went to Gran's house after church for lunch before we got ready to head to trunk or treat. Daddy threatened to wear this, and Jacob and I were very glad he changed his mind. Don't tell him, but Jacob informed me that sometimes Daddy can be so embarrassing! ;)

Gran wanted us to go to her church before we headed to ours, and since it started an hour before we headed that way. Here are a few pics. We went on another hay ride, and played on their play ground. Jacob was having a blast, so we let him be.

We then went to our church, and this little fella played HARD the entire time! We had a blast!

And since then, both of my boys (won't be able to say that for much longer with the same meaning :)) finally got hair cuts! I vow to never again get off schedule with those! And Mama entered into the THIRD TRIMESTER! It's amazing how quickly the second time around goes by! We were also showered twice yesterday. Grant is one incredibly blessed little boy, and we are getting very eager to meet him!

Saturday Night

Ok, only one more post from last weekend after this one! Trying to catch the blog up has been time consuming this week! :)

After the pumpkin patch, we ran home, changed clothes, went to our favorite Mexican restaurant with Grandmollie, Papa and LoLo, and then headed to Tannehill State Park. Every year for the month of October TONS of people camp there and do a big trick or treat for Halloween. It is unbelievable to see all the decorations. These people spend more on their camping Halloween decor than I do for Christmas! This was our third year going, so I guess it's tradition now. We had a blast. Lil man went on another train ride and another hay ride (to and from our car), and got very little candy. I hear there were 10,000+ people there, and by the time we got around, everyone was out of candy! We didn't care. We just go for the atmosphere. For the sake of time, I'm going to let the pictures do the rest of the talking...

Is that last one not hilarious?!?! We had a wonderful night, and Wayne and I left with camper envy. It made us REALLY want to upgrade from the pop up. Ahhh! Maybe one day! :)

P.S. Did you notice the "susser" theme in almost every one of Jacob's pictures? He had one of those in his mouth all weekend!
