We were all over the place last weekend. We went last Saturday to my great-aunt's house in Valley, Al. My great-grandmother lives with her now, and they were hosting a come and go Christmas for her. It was so nice to be able to spend quality time with them. Wayne and I don't make the effort enough to go see them. In fact, this was the first time Aunt Liz met Jacob!
And of course, we had to get another generation picture with Grandma! It was hilarious because we couldn't get her and Jacob to look at the camera at the same time!
And little man was loving touching the ceiling! And his Pappy was having a blast helping him to do it! The things that make him laugh! I'm telling you!
I vow to do better, and make my way to Valley more often. In fact, I promised that within the next couple of months I would pick up my Memaw (Dad's mom who lives in Alex City) on the way and we would come spend the day with them! Oh, to brave Aunt Liz's house again! One thing was for sure, it was NOT baby proof. I was scared to death the entire time we were there that Jacob was going to break something!
Before we went to Aunt Liz's, we stopped by the Taylor residence! Tyler had not met Jacob yet! He was so precious with our lil buddy! He is going to make a fantastic big brother one day!
And they had this little bitty piano that Jacob adored! He banged, I mean played, and played on it! He had a blast!
We also had our nephew, Logan's, Christmas play at church Sunday night! He did a fantastic job! Here is one of him saying one of his lines....
and here is one of him scratching his head! :)
Jacob danced the entire time! He loved the music! He was all smiles!
Towards the end, he got a little restless and Papa was gracious enough to stand with him. Somehow, standing seems to make things all better! Thanks Papa!
Now, another busy weekend. But it will start off wonderful! I'm finishing up cleaning today, and then I'm off on a date with one good looking man! :)
