Saturday was just as busy, which is why it will be split into two posts. We got up that morning, headed out to do a little Christmas shopping, came home for Jacob to take an hour nap, and then headed to Shadow Lake Pumpkin Patch. Jacob had a BLAST!
He worked hard on picking out the perfect pumpkin. It's the little one he's holding. ;) We decided to get the bigger one too. Even though we ran out of time to get it carved, we can still use it for a little while longer until Thanksgiving!
We then went on a hayride.
The ride stopped at this little maze. Wayne and Jacob jumped out to go through it. Wayne said the entire time Jacob was saying, "I won out!" :)
He had his eyes set on the train the entire time we were there. As you can tell from the post below, I absolutely love this picture. In fact, it will probably go in Jacob's room.
We finally made it on it, and he was THRILLED!
And last but not least, we headed over to the bouncy house area. The lady at the front "warned" us that big kids were in there, and I think she was a little nervous with Jacob going. She obviously doesn't know our son. He actually does MUCH better with bigger kids than he does smaller ones. He is just all boy! And I'm glad we let him in. He probably had the most fun here.
And oh, the tears that fell when it was time to go! We couldn't help him to understand we had to hurry and get ready to go have MORE fun!
All was well with the world again when he got his little pumpkin back!
Be back soon with the rest of Saturday! Hopefully I will have last weekend finished before this weekend is over! ;)
