9/9/10

(Please note that some of these pics are not great quality. My camera is giving me fits, and I'm praying it's fixed soon!!!)

Two years. It absolutely blows my mind that my baby is already two! He is just as sweet today as he was when he was born two years ago, and in my opinion a lot more fun! I am loving this age with him! He's constantly cracking us up!

First things first. The morning of his birthday, he had two of his breakfast favorites...waffles and eggs! And he got to sit at the big table! :) He's always asking for "chair" instead of his high chair!

Then we all (the three of us, my sis and her fiance, my brother, and my parents) got ready and headed out for lunch and then the zoo, where Grandmollie met us. Count that. It took 8 grown ups to take 1 two year old to the zoo! :)

We went last year, and for now we thought it was a good little tradition. So, we did it again this year. It didn't take long for little man to get into it. This is right in front of the entrance...

We saw lots of animals....

16

His favorite last year was the giraffe.

This was as close as they came this year. :( We were looking forward to that.

If I had to guess, this "kitty" was probably his favorite this year. It was running back and forth with him. Poor thing. He probably didn't realize that the "kitty" actually probably wanted to eat him!

We were even allowed to feed a few animals. Yes. That's dead fish in the first picture. We washed hands for quite some time after this. (For those of you who may not know, Wayne blames me on "sissyfying" (??) Jacob. I wash the kid's hands so much that he doesn't even like dirt on his hands!)

14

We also fed the birds. Jacob LOVED this.

Mommy, not so much. Check out Bubba's shirt and you can probably get a good idea about what I was worried about happening! Ha!

9

He even had his picture made a few times. ;)

18

And then there was the splash pad. Check out this picture from last year.

And here he was this year:

After that, he had to ride the carousel. And let me tell you, that is one good daddy right there. There isn't much he wouldn't do for us!

28

After the zoo, we headed out to Habaneros. I was trying to keep Jacob in mind with where we ate, and I am positive he enjoyed every last drop!

29

We then headed home for cake and ice cream, and this was waiting in the yard!

30

He had so much fun jumping with Aunt Rie, he didn't want her to get out!

31

But there was much more waiting for him on the inside...

32

We opened presents for what seemed like forever!

After a long day, we were finally able to eat CAKE!

Then, finally, when all was said and done, Pappy did this:

All in all, it was the perfect day for a perfect little boy! Little did he know, he was going to have another day just for him the very next day...
