River Rats

Anyone that knows us, knows that we spend a lot of time at the river during the summer! Usually, anyway. This summer we haven't had much of a free weekend to do anything! Wayne and I pretty much lived at the river while we were dating. Since then, my in laws have sold their place, and we just don't go as often as we use to. My MIL has a cousin that rents out cabins that my in laws go to a good bit, and Wayne, Jacob and I decided to join them for the day on Saturday. It was so much fun, and really nice to just get away from it all. I have a feeling we might stay in those cabins a good bit next summer!

Lil man had a blast throwing rocks and things in the water. I literally think he could do this for hours!

He also wore Grandmollie's hat for half the day....and lost it. I don't think anyone ever found it!

He was so excited when we finally went out for a boat ride! Let me tell you it was hot!!!

And after about 10 minutes, he was OUT! :)

Towards the end of the day, I got Gran to take a pic of our growing baby! Let me tell you, to only be as far as I am, I am huge! I don't get it. I was like 2 months farther with Jacob when I was this big. Everyone says you show much faster with your second, and I believe it! I just hope it doesn't mean I end up bigger in the end!!! (Please excuse the blurriness. I had a lens on that's not the easiest to take a picture with if you're not use to it, but you get the idea.)

Now, time to pack for the beach!!! I am SOOOOO ready for this vacation, and boy is it needed! Hopefully I will be back by the end of next week with new pictures! :)
