Last Weekend...

We have been so busy around the Peoples house! We finally got our house ready for spring by planting a few flowers, laying out straw (that we raked from the woods from my in law's house!! - for free! Plus it gave Wayne an excuse to drive the John Deer!) in the beds, and I made a new arrangement for our front door! It's looking a lot better than it did last week! :)

Then, we decided to add a little bit more to our plate by getting this...

Our original plan for this summer was to get season passes for Alabama Adventure (since it's literally 5 minutes up the road from us). We knew we needed something to keep us wet in this Alabama heat with a nearly 2 year old that would live outside if we would let him! (You should see the fits that happen when we bring him in for the evening!) We have several friends that have the passes, but after much thought, we decided to go ahead with the pool instead! Kids sure are fun! They give grown ups all sorts of excuses to buy toys! ;)

This picture is so sweet to me! These two were determined to go for a 10 minute swim after we ate dinner on the deck (we've been loving doing that lately!) last night. They have such a sweet relationship that I enjoy watching. Wayne is an excellent dad, and he truly enjoys his time with our little man! I feel certain the feeling is mutual!
