Letting Go of Creative Juices

I had such a girlie weekend! Everything in my life is usually revolved around boy stuff, so this was a nice change for once! Friday night I went to Wayne's cousin's house to scrapbook. We had a blast! Deana leads up a class, and teaches us something new when we come. I cropped for 5 hours! I finally started Jacob's baby book! Here is an example of one of the layouts...

(Isn't he such a cutie?) I'm so glad I have joined this group because now at least once a month I will have an entire night to work on his book!

Saturday, I had a baby shower for another one of Wayne's cousin's (yes, he has a big family). I was one of the hostesses, and I was put in charge of the centerpiece for the table. So, I bought some fabric, went to Michael's and got the flower stems and the rest and WA-LA...

Here is a pic of Janet (God love her, I do not miss this at all!) before the shower started. She's carrying around Jacob's little cousin, Tyson. Next year, the Peoples will have 4 babies a year and younger at Christmas!

And of course, here is a pic of my little man at the shower. It was such a pretty day! He was wearing his hat that keeps the aliens away!

Like I said before, I was grateful for a girlie weekend. I can't wait until next month so I can work on my scrapbook again! :)
